Our very own Rafi has been named an alternate captain for Team USA for the upcoming Olympic Games in February. Congratulations are in order, and he joins Nicklas Lidstrom, who has already been named the Captain of Team Sweden, as Red Wings that will be letter-wearers for their country.
Jamie Langenbrunner of the New Jersey Devils was named captain of the squad. The other alternates are Chris Drury, Zach Parise, Ryan Suter, and Dustin Brown.
