:: What a hell of a hockey game this was. First it was a shit show, as Jimmy Howard gave up some cheapies and the Wings were down 4-0. Four unanswered goals in an electric building, and perfect hockey from Joey MacDonald, allowed the Wings to climb back in it. It’s a total shame that this game had to end with a shootout, because that’s classic hockey for 65 minutes.

:: Aside from the James Neal shootout winner, Joey MacDonald hasn’t allowed a goal in his last 91 minutes in the Red Wings net. That’s saying something.
