Tollefsen clears waivers (SHOCKER!)

The newest Red Wing acquisition has cleared waivers and is on his way to Grand Rapids. Defenseman Ole-Kristian Tollefsen, part of the return for Ville Leino, was waived immediately after the trade was completed, and other teams had until noon today to put in a claim for the tough guy (as picture below moments after getting his ass kicked):
And, since it’s perpetually ladies night around TPLand, here’s a shot of our newest Griffin, sans shirt:
In related news, Ville Leino will be wearing #22 for the Philadelphia Flyers. He is supposed to make his debut tonight, when the Flyers take on the Devils.

***UPDATE***
Our good friend WingedUP has pointed out that Ville Leino will not be in the lineup tonight. He’s a healthy scratch. How strange for him.

  1. I've been watching Flyers news all day…trying to see if Leino will actually be playing tonight. It doesn't sound like it, but I'll be watching Versus to see anyway. He'll probably have a hat trick, or some ungodly thing like that, if he plays. If OKT stays healthy, maybe he'll be a help in Grand Rapids.

  2. Ha ha ha. I can kill the feed now and watch a better game!

Did he seriously pose like that? That's just bad. Now I want to kick his ass.

  3. Hey hey now, I like my men bloody and shirtless. Very comparable pose to the instant react girls, if you ask me.
