I guess I was comparing moving [Lebda and May] to moving [Williams]. But you're right, we need a Williams more than we need both Lebda and May.

And besides, Brett Lebda MIGHT fetch a third rounder, which isn't all that terrible. Like I've said a million times, I'll do a backflip for a second.

It would basically be a rebuilding move since Williams disappearing from the roster would make us worse on the ice this year. I don't think we need a 4th or 5th rounder for our future as badly as we need Jason Williams for our present.

But, yeah, bouncing pucks are not the Red Wings friend this season. Further, I know Zetterberg hasn't been awesome on shootouts this season, but I wouldn't let Todd Bertuzzi shoot until after Chris Osgood.

Andy, I can't tell you how many pictures I had to look through to find that one — and I'm not even sold on that one. Not my type. At all.

@JJ, while I agree with your Lebda and May argument, moving Williams has its perks, too. It's a two-birds-one-stone scenario. The Wings only need one roster spot and $1.2M cleared. Moving Williams alone takes care of both of those situations. Also, I believe he'll fetch a much larger return than any of the other potential scenarios.

Or is she the one that dresses slutty while out on the town with her 9-year old daughter? I know it's definitely one of those two.

I still can't understand why Wings fans WANT Jason Williams traded. Getting rid of Lebda and May gets rid of two people that aren't needed for the rest of the season with the return of Franzen/Lilja. Sure, Williams has been a relative bust (his points per game are better than Eaves'), but why trade away a guy who can score goals in a season where you need to score goals and get basically nothing in return? Just because a guy is overpaid doesn't mean you should get rid of him, especially when you're fighting for the playoffs. Trading away Williams just seems like starting rebuilding a bit too early unless we get something fantastic and free for him. If you're going to trade away overpaid guys that can provide offense, they I'm guessing Rafalski's going soon too, huh?

Right position at the right time, just got unlucky. Reoccuring theme with the wings this year. Still have no idea why bertuzzi is in the shootouts and filppula isnt

At least…not the kind you're thinking.

But all of a sudden, I want a massage too.

Hmm.

P.S. I liked the last 8 minutes of regulation.
