I just don't see them throwing the kid out there at this stage of the game. Too much can go wrong and I think Tick Tock is all about the future and the cap space he's going to have for next season.

I think it's more of a psychological boost than an offensive one. Imagine being a healthy scratch while an 18 year old played in your place. You wouldn't be so pleased. And I think that's the kind of kick in the pants the Wings could build off of, particularly if there are no trades coming.

I was at the Griffins game yesterday. A sloppy affair. The Griffins scored 8 goals and Tatar was pretty much invisible. Although he's a plus player, he's got 1 goal and 1 assist through 7 games.
